Works of Art

The Value of a Work of Art may exceed the price of a house or apartment. The importance of an up-to-date Appraisal of Works of Art cannot be over-emphasized, especially in a climate in which strong demand for fine works has driven values up in a short period of time (particularly so with works of Contemporary Art). This is why an accurate up-to-date Appraisal is so important.

We recommend that Works of Art should be re-appraised every three years. If the collection includes works by contemporary artists, it may be necessary to re- appraise values more frequently. If a well-respected and successful artist has recently died, it is most important to have works by them promptly re-appraised.
